
Chocolate Tahini Brownies
with sesame seeds
Sometimes, you just need brownies.
And when you just need brownies, we thoroughly recommend that you make a batch of brownies. We also recommend that you try these tahini brownies. Deliciously chocolatey, deliciously nutty, deliciously delicious!
Ingredients
3 large eggs
125g light brown sugar
80g melted butter
125g melted dark chocolate
100ml room temperature milk
dairy or dairy-free200g plain flour
40g cocoa powder
½ tsp salt
70g tahini
75g dark chocolate chunks/chips
1 heaped tsp sesame seeds
Method
Preheat the oven to 180ºc and line a rectangular baking tray with parchment paper.
Thoroughly whisk together the eggs and light brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Then add the melted butter, melted chocolate and milk. Combine well.
Add the flour, cocoa powder and salt and mix again.
Fold through ½ of the tahini and then pour the brownie mixture into the lined tin.
Flatten and smooth into the corners of the tin and then drizzle the remaining tahini over the mixture in lines. Use a knife to glide through the mixture in the opposite direction to make swirls.
Top with the chocolate chunks/chips and sesame seeds and bake in the oven for 25 minutes.
Allow to cool completely before removing from the tin and slicing. Store in the fridge and consume within 5 days. Enjoy!
