The perfect partner with a cup of tea, but also an awesome pre-workout snack full of oats, nuts, and dried fruit providing a good source of fuel so you can trainer harder, for longer.
In this recipe, I’m using Lifeforce muesli – made with nutritious ingredients with up to 42% fruit, nuts, and seeds and the rest from oats, barley, and wheat flakes.
I am very proud to be working with Lifeforce – a brand close to my heart originating in Ireland in 1977 to provide foods just as nature intended. They believe that a health lifestyle is not just about eating healthily – but enjoying life. It’s doing what makes YOU happy. I couldn’t agree more.

Muesli Flapjacks
Print ThisIngredients
- 160g softened butter (or vegan alternative)
- 130g Demerara brown sugar
- 300g Lifeforce muesli
- 75g porridge oats
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180c.
Melt the butter and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat.
Pour the melted butter and sugar into a bowl with the muesli and porridge oats and stir to combine.
Prepare and line a square baking tin and spoon the mixture in. Using the back of a wooden spoon, press the mixture down to level it out.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden around edges. You can bake it more less time for a chewy flapjack and more time for a crunchy one, if you like.
Allow the flapjack to cool in the tin before removing and cutting into 16 squares. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
