A smoothie a day keeps the heatwave at bay…?
Ok, so neither of those are true but a smoothie is a pretty delicious thing to get in some of your fruits and/or veggies and keep you cool during a heatwave.
And so we’re sharing the smoothies series. 4 smoothies. 4 different moods. 4 different colours. 1 goal – to taste delicious.
Up this week – the hulk protein shake! So called mainly because it’s green…but also because it’s a great one to enjoy after a workout!

The hulk protein shakePrint This
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 ripe banana, chopped (or frozen banana)
- 2 handfuls or spinach or kale, washed
- 1 tbsp nut butter (peanut or almond)
- 250ml of (any) milk
- A handful of ice
Add all the ingredients to a blender and blitz until smooth.
Adding ice makes the smoothie thick so add a little more liquid to thin it out to your liking.
