Because in December, why wouldn’t we share brownies shaped into reindeers? Thank you so much to Luce Hosier for sharing this recipe with us!
Chocolate Reindeer BrowniesPrint This
- 1 large avocado
- 45ml coconut oil (melted)
- 230g oat flour (blitz oats in food processor until fine, use GF if required)
- 40g of cacao powder
- 50g of coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 150ml of unsweetened almond milk (or dairy free alternative)
- 100g chocolate chips
- 16 pretzels
- eyes (not edible)
- strawberries (for the nose)
Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F and grease a square baking tin with a bit of coconut oil.
In a food processor blitz together the coconut oil, avocado and almond milk.
Next add the oat flour, cacao powder, coconut sugar, salt and baking powder to the processor and blitz until combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips and evenly empty the mixture into your baking tin.
Bake in oven for approx. 25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool and cut into 8 rectangles, and then cut 2 of the corners off of each rectangle.
Add the eyes, pretzels for ears, and cut the strawberries into circles for noses. Enjoy!
