There is nothing quite like the combination of apple, cinnamon, and caramel in my opinion!
I have the biggest sweet tooth and I love finishing off my evening meal with something sweet – but I don’t have time to waste in the kitchen. This recipe is super quick, and so delicious, that it will keep you coming back again and again.
Cinnamon Apple with Salted Caramel Tahini DrizzlePrint This
- 1 apple, chopped into chunks
- 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
- 1/2 TBSP of coconut oil
- 1 TBSP of tahini
- 1 TBSP of milk
- 1 TBSP of honey or Agave
- Pinch of sea salt
Put the coconut oil in the small bowl and microwave it for about 15-20 seconds until it’s melted.
Place the chopped apple in a separate bowl and mix it with the cinnamon and coconut oil. Fry on a pan for 5 minutes until soft and golden.
- To make the salted caramel tahini dressing, combine the tahini, milk, and honey in a saucepan and stir well until combined. Gently warm the mixture over low heat, stirring until it is all combined and begins to thicken slightly. Add a little sea salt, then taste and add more as you wish. Turn off the heat and allow to cool and thicken further.
- Pour the mixture over the apples and serve warm with some ice-cream or yogurt.
