Matcha Protein BallsPrint This
- 1/2 cup cashew nuts
- 1/2 cup dessicated coconut
- 1 tsp matcha powder
- 2 TBSP coconut flour
- 1/4 cup of unflavoured or vanilla protein powder
- 2 TBSP coconut oil, melted
- 3 TBSP Agave Nectar or honey
In a food processor, blend the cashew nuts, coconut, coconut flour, protein powder and matcha powder into a crumb-like consistency.
Next add the melted oil and agave nectar. Blend until well combined and the mix resembles a dough – add a splash of water if it is too dry, or extra coconut flour if it is too wet.
Form the mixture into approximately 10 small balls and roll in the chopped nuts or coconut. Place in the fridge to set & store in an air tight container until consumed.
