Chocolate BarkPrint This
- 1/2 cup cocoa butter, grated
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 1/2 cup organic cocoa powder
- 2 Tbsp organic honey (agave nectar or maple syrup if vegan)
Heat a saucepan of water on the hob until it simmers (but not boils). Take the saucepan off the heat.
Place the cocoa butter and coconut oil into a heat proof bowl and place over the pan of warm water. Stir until the oil and butter have melted. Add the cocoa powder and agave to the mixture.
Pour the mixture onto a silicone tray or, one lined with greaseproof paper, and sprinkle the toppings over the melted chocolate.
Place the chocolate into the fridge for approximately 1-2 hours. Once the chocolate is set break into pieces and store in an airtight container.
*alternatively you can pour the chocolate into chocolate moulds, these will take a little longer to set. Toppings: Crushed pistachio nuts, Flaked almonds and Goji Berries
